Welcome Year 11 mathematicians!

This is a blog for you. Here we can talk about what we are learning in class, homework and anything else that catches our mathematical fancy.

The blog will also feature a 'mathematician of the month' to inspire and remind us what it means to be a mathematician.

The hairy man pictured here is Bernhard Riemann born 17th Sept 1826. He was Einstein's mathematician - 60 years before Einstein produced his great theory, Riemann did all the hard maths that was needed for it! Even Einstein found Riemann's maths tricky.

Reimann investigated many areas of maths including the beautiful Reimann surfaces at the top. And he talked a lot about infinity. Can you find out more about him and his maths?
